Parlament Pub
Parliament Pub is the most popular student bar in Ljubljana. It is relatively cheap, and its liquor selection has a wide variety of drinks. Although it is technically a pub, some would say that it transforms into a dance club every night with its DJ and a dancefloor.
The pub is located in the center of Ljubljana, near the Slovenian parliament. The pub’s name was inspired by that building (Slovenian for parliament being parlament). There is no cover charge. People often stay all night, dancing to the DJ’s best tunes.
Harat’s Pub
Harat’s Irish Pubs is the largest chain of Irish pubs in the world, with live music every evening from Thursday to Saturday and almost every day during summer.
The pub is located on the bank of the Ljubljanica River in central Ljubljana. It is spacious and has a nice ambiance, and this is where we will begin our Pub Crawl Ljubljana.
Captain’s Cabin
Captain’s Cabin is an underground cocktail bar located in Ljubljana’s city center. It is open every night and on Sundays, when most other businesses are closed.
The bar features a nautical theme and offers a special two-for-one drink special every night. The owners also offer the option of renting the place for a private stag party if you book it in advance.
Holidays’ Pub
Holidays’ Pub, the oldest bar in Ljubljana, is located on the main street next to the Slon Hotel. During the day, they serve food and drinks, but it is at night when they really shine.
Every Wednesday at Holidays’ Pub, amateur singers can show off their talents by taking part in karaoke night. If singing is not your cup of tea, you can still visit them on Friday or Saturday when DJs spin the best music from as late as the 1970s.
England Pub
Ljubljana has its own version of an authentic English pub, and you may wish to visit it if you have never been to one before. The owner of this pub is a big fan of Manchester United football club, so a kind word about that team might even get you a free drink.
Patrick’s Irish Pub
Patrick’s is a typical Irish pub, where you can catch a broadcast of many football matches. Enjoy the pub’s delicious food and have a pint of beer while watching the game. The pub opens at 7 pm every day from Tuesday to Saturday and remains open until late into the night.
AS Aperitivo
The AS Aperitivo is a restaurant with an excellent selection of food and drinks, live music, and a fun atmosphere. It is located in the center of Ljubljana, hidden in a pleasant narrow street, just away from the Ljubljanica River.
It’s perfect for a pre-party dinner before going to a club or to have a drink. You will find it slightly more expensive than the others, but you get what you pay for with quality service, wonderful ambiance, live music, and top-quality food and drinks.
Cutty Sark
The Cutty Sark is a British-style pub with a long history of live music and parties. The pub is situated in the city’s heart, close to Ljubljana’s most famous squares and streets.
Cutty Sark offers a wide selection of local and imported beers, spirits, and wines. It is the perfect place to stop for pre-party drinks before going out in the city.
